Arrived at the dirt road on Peralta at 7:50am only to find it was closed until 9:00am due to a marathon in the area. Sat it out, and it was worth it! The Superstition Mts are gorgeous! The area is surrounded by green foliage and saguaros everywhere. The trail has small rocks, medium rocks, boulder rocks…this hike is breathtaking in both beauty and steady incline! Highly recommend early hike to beat the heat and the crowds. This hike truly ROCKS!
