The weather was beautiful today! Blue skies and a perfect breeze. The home started off on an incline but it wasn’t too bad, it leveled out after about a mile. There were a good amount of ‘forgetmenots’ on the side of the trail, but overall, there weren’t too many flowers blooming. The lookout spots around trail curves were just gorgeous and so expansive!
the last mile of the hike was also a bit of a steep incline, it made it a bit harder since it was the tail end of the hike – but overall it wasn’t too bad at all! The reward of the views made it worth it, the summit is a great spot for lunch! We all packed sandwiches and rested together for a bit. The descent down definitely gave me some gnarly blisters, but that was unsurprising for me!
It was a stunning hike! Great Saturday!
