Perfect day at Black Mountain

It was a perfect day for hike (sunny and cloudy).

well parked at 28100 Laura court and at 8:30 no other car. It’s a residential area and there are ‘no parking’ sigh  area but it’s between 7:00 pm-7:00 am but it’s not confusing. This trailhead is better at least from parking point of view because others have serious parking challenges.

The trail is well maintained. I think it’s rated hard but I’ll say moderate. Please be aware that are no restrooms but fortunately we both didn’t need it.

At the peak I had to struggle to find the geological survey pin but eventually found it.
