Fremont Saddle: Are we in the desert?

I’m my humble opinion this has been the stand out best hike of the series. The serenity and views are breathtaking. As we hiked just after a rainy day, the waterfalls were flowing with the sights and smells of the desert ensnaring the senses. The hike is up through a canyon, so the crisp air and lush foliage make you forget your hiking in a desert. Upon arriving at the top of the canyon, the waterfalls are abundant and provide a calming soundtrack to the gorgeous views. If you haven’t hiked this before, plan for extra time to stop and look around as the views are ever changing and spectacular.
