Winter wonderland. 45mph winds and light snow. Epic time.

  1. Glad you made it! Conditions looked intense. Did you have a lot of post-holing? Did you use GPS to route-find?

    1. Maybe max 2’ deep Post-holing.. but not too much. only for whoever was leading.. I realized that I could’ve just brought my snow shoes and only use them when I needed.. we make it out and learn I guess.. haha

      There was gps signal throughout. We used mostly compass and map. gps was used to check mostly as it was really cold to take gloves off and use it. Relied on gps when it looked like we were near an edge.

      It was our first time in a snowstorm and beautiful!

      Will definitely head back someday to make it to grouse and Cerro noroeste.
