Salty Santiago

The road is closed about 2 miles from the holy Jim trailhead parking lot. Your first adventure is 3 river crossing before you even get to the trailhead. Once you’re in, beautiful wildflowers are everywhere. Once you hit the fire road, be prepared for no shade and less beauty until you reach peak views at the top. We did encounter a rattlesnake on the way down but quickly move passed without harm to either of us. Long hike, bring lots of water and enjoy!!
