Wow, the road up to the trailhead is ROUGH. That was honestly the worst part. Once our vehicle was parked and we were on foot things got much better. A lot of the hike is via a fire road, which is not my favorite hiking experience but there are opportunities to take smaller hiking trails along the way. Some of the views on this hike are incredible. Gorgeous panoramic views.
