Santiago Adventure Park

Beautiful view all the way to the top minus the antennas, but looking past the antennas, the view was still beautiful.  It was difficult to find the Santiago Peak plaque, so we stood in front of Santiago Peak Building #1 for the photo.  Road closure added about 4 miles to the hike, so a 16 mile hike became 20.  We encountered 2 rattlesnakes hidden in the bushes, who were not happy we were there and a bees nest along the road back to the car that had been disturbed and were swarming around their nest.  Heather, my hiking partner got to meet one of the bees in the port-a-potty.
