After hiking Cucamonga with my friend and parting ways at the saddle, I continued on to Ontario. At this time, it was pretty warm, but I still had plenty of water and energy.
The bugs were out, but not bothering me. I was actually enjoying watching the little purple butterflies and a number of larger butterflies along the trail. There was also a good number of bees and hummingbirds.
There are also a good number of big logs along the trail, but they are easy to get over (or under in one instance). Most of them have been cut to make way.
All in all, it was a pretty nice day to get in a couple peaks!
