I started early intending to knock out Big Horn and Ontario quickly, but I forgot that I don't hike quickly. Got up to Icehouse Saddle in 3 hours, which was a bad sign. I took one of the “better” routes from the Saddle to Big Horn, better meaning steeper and loose, but with less bashing through the bushes, and got to Big Horn in about an hour. Ate a pudding cup to stave off hunger pangs and dropped down Big Horn on the other side. From there it was slow going to Ontario Peak for some reason, but that worked out OK because I met 3 hikers working on the 6 Pack, one of whom recognized some fat old guy. I partially redeemed myself on the way down, made it to the trailhead in 3 hours and rewarded myself with a root beer float.
