Fantastic hike. There is a beautiful water fall that you can either see of hear for about a mile or so of the walk. Several vista areas and so much to see along the hike. We were in awe of the numerous fungi, how friendly the squirrels were, and even had a family of Spruce Grouse walk with us for a little bit.

It is definitely a difficult hike, but one of our favorites to date. If it has rained recently or is about to rain, I would be very careful as it could get slippery very quickly as you are walking on rocks or stepping over tree roots for the majority of the time. We also learned from the through hikers that it really is a good idea to have hiking poles to assist in navigating down all the rocks.
