After an hour drive, arrived at the parking lot at seven am with my daughter. The trail was easy to find with the first section mainly switchbacks with some steeper options available to take a more direct route up. Once you reach the fire roads it is a comfortable hike to the top. Starting early was nice as the weather temperature was perfect and we had the trail to ourselves. The beautiful views along the way made for a great morning hike.
This is peak 3 for my daughter and I so we are on mission to finish the next 3 by year end. Our schedules have been our main challenge but look forward to completing our sixth peak soon.

Fantastic photos, Steve!
Scheduling is usually the biggest challenge for me, too. Sometimes the biggest mountain isn’t the one you hike. 😉
