Hiked to Tinker Knob from Palisades ski resort via the Granite Chief and PCT trails. The trail conditions were overall not bad, only one patch of snow that was easily managed. . Saw some PCT hikers and a few other hikers coming from Donner pass but not hiking to Tinker Knob. It is a long hike with a lot of elevation, Alltrails had my hike at 15 miles and 4K of elevation gain. There are some streams along the way that you can filter water. It is a great time to go as the wild flowers are still blooming
