Franconia Ridge

The forecast called for a rainy day, which kept a lot of people away from this super popular hike – but not us! And aside from a few raindrops right at the start, we ended up with a perfect hiking day. Up Falling Waters (lovely!), across the ridge (spectacular!), down Greenleaf (neverending!). Make sure your feet are happy in your shoes before tackling this one – I had recently upgraded my trail runners and the fit was just enough off that every step of the way down was pure torture.
