Started at Ohlone Wilderness Ranger station, hiking 3 miles to the backpacker’s camp. Alpine start, reaching Mission Peak summit at 6:45 AM, just as the sun was rising. Total distance, about 18 miles and 3ooo foot elevation gain. Fantastic view of Broken Spectre at the summit.
