Sitting on Sitton Peak

A lovely hike to Sitton Peak. A rather easy hike compared to other peaks; most of the hike was not strenuous until the peak ascent. The ascension of the peak was quite steep and required some scrambling. The view from the top was gorgeous, with the low-hanging clouds that occasionally misted us as they were carried in the light breeze. After pictures, eating lunch, resting, and exploring the peak, we headed back down. The way back was wet as it began to sporadically rain and sprinkle, but we were thankful it didn’t happen while we were on the peak!
