Trail conditions Trail in good condition

Road Road rough but passable

Bugs No bugs

Snow Intermittent snow - not hard to cross

Wildflowers blooming

Hiked with a group

Beautiful, big clouds in the sky kinda day.

Slightly cool, still some snow at the upper elevation.

We made this a 16.4 mile out and back trip.

Hey Michael, is that because the road to the Bald Mountain trailhead was closed?

No; while part of Hicks road was closed (which caused us a detour to the trailhead (which I stated incorrect ) ) – the Woods Trailhead is where we met.
I’ll add another image that shows the 16 mile out-and-back we did.
