Hike number 11 out of 12 peaks challenge.

I’m so glad I participated in the SoCal Six Pack of Peaks Challenge in 2026! I enjoyed it to the fullest! The challenge required me to hike six of the twelve most popular peaks in Southern California. I thought, “Why not hike all twelve?” Today, I hiked Santiago Peak, my eleventh peak. It was a relaxing hike. The views were beautiful, and the mountain was covered in a variety of flowers. The off-road drive to the trailhead is quite the adventure, and you definitely need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle to make it. Sawmill Peak is my last peak to complete the challenge. Sawmill, here I come! — at Santiago Peak.
