Wildflowers blooming

I bagged Modjeska Peak on the way…because why not?!? The trail is gorgeous and loaded with wildflowers. I somehow lost the trail from Modjeska to Santiago (Joplin) and ended up coming down some scree. I’m not sure if I took a wrong turn or if the trail actually dropped off. A lot of motorized vehicles headed to the top. I met some cool bikers. You will not get to the trailhead unless you have a 4×4. The drive getting there is just as adventurous as the hike.
