Camelback… it’s been a while.

It’s been approximately 20 years since I hiked to the summit of Camelback via Echo Canyon Trail and as beautiful as it is, I began to remember why.  There is a lot of scrambling in the second half of the hike on the way to the summit… especially if you have short legs, which I do. And while there are some friendly hikers, I find many of the hikers stand-off-ish when you say hello… it’s definitely not the hiking environment I prefer… and this it will probably be another 20 years before I hike Echo Canyon Trail again; although Cholla Trail seems to have better hiking friends. ????????????
