Was hoping to hike Baldy today, but made a game time decision to hike Mount Ontario instead due to snow conditions. The views on the way up to Ontario Peak were stunning!  We encountered snow about 2 miles up but made it safely up and down without special equipment. The trip down was tricky due to slushy snow and ice melting from the trees.  It might as well have been raining it was coming down so hard!  All in all, an amazing hike that will treat you to amazing views of mountains, water falls, and a river
