3-30-19 Hiked strawberry peak with #f6mountainwarriors for our 3rd Peak for SoCal Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge! Rated hard but I’d say moderate till you get to the last half mile where it’s steep and scrambled through rocks at some point! Mostly open space (not a lot of shades so not recommended for summer hike), lots of thorny bushes (so wear pants) and be warned of poisonous poodle-dog bush! Other than that…truly an enjoyable and beautiful hike!

Bonus: our coach trained us on some basic knotting skills at the top! Some skills we learned: timber hitch, square knot & bowline knot! Thanks Coach Dennis! Till our next Hike & Training 🙂
