???????? Independence Day with Bill ????

Beautiful hike! Some annoying bugs in a few places. We started around 11 am. Weather was sunny and in the mid  80’s with some very appreciated wind gusts. Very windy at the top. The building was helpful to block most of it while we took in the views and ate our snacks.  I had my hopes up to be able to climb at least part way up the tower but it was closed off.  We only saw 7 other hikers and 1 mountain biker.  Some people in UTV’s arrived at the top shortly after we got up there. They just turned around and drove back down. We met another Peak Challenger not far from the top. She was on her way down. Great day and a fun way to spend our July 4th holiday!
