1 Hike Down, 8 to go

Good weather and good time to hike the East Bay. A bit muddy in the beginning, but was fine the higher you climbed. Was not too sunny either. Planning on just doing all 9 peaks, I’m an avid hiker and typically average 350 miles a year on the trail, so this is nothing, but I usually skip hiking during the winter months. Doing this challenge will hopefully keep my legs fresh once summers kicks off. Got to break in my new Altra 7s as well. Views at the top were pretty nice. Coolest thing we saw was that there were TONS of ladybugs going down, maybe a mile or so from the trailhead.
