Hiked with a group

Our foursome started the hike at 7am in order to beat the afternoon heat. The trail was in great condition, with only a few slightly muddy areas. No bugs except around the stream areas. Lots of wildflowers! Saw a few sage rats scurrying around in the rocks. Explored an old mining operation. Great way to celebrate Independence Day!!
