So after gaining 2100 feet over five miles last week on O’Leary, why not climb 200 hundred extra feet in HALF THE DISTANCE this time???  Man, that was some steep trail, very rocky, we had a couple spills (and saw a couple others), so PLEASE be careful on this trail.  The fire tower is quite a bit taller than many others, so make sure to go up and check out the view!

    We were very fortunate and did it the DAY BEFORE the museum fire started 🙁 I do believe Elden is now closed until at least September 1.
