It was an early morning hike with friends from Icehouse Canyon to Cucamonga Peak. With our legs still feeling fresh and the weather perfect, we hiked back to the saddle for lunch before deciding to make our way to Ontario Peak for a 2-n-1 hike. Thankfully, a friend packed pedialyte pops which gave us the energy to reach peak number 2. The views were just as breathtaking and time seemed to move too fast. We were under a time crunch and didn’t get to stay as long as we had liked. By this time, too, our legs were gassed making the our trek back down toward our car less than pleasant. The victory was in seeing the parking lot. From start to finish, it took us 12 hours. Funny thing though, we want to do it again!
