We took Jacob’s Crossing to Siphon Draw to summit Flatiron-a highly recommended break on your feet getting off the loose rocks earlier when returning! We covered 8.14 miles in 5 hours-exploring the standard “right side” flat iron and the memorial site and views on the left.
The climb was challenging as ever with lots of choices and scrambling. The trail was far from crowded but had a good deal of enthusiastic hikers-many for their first time.
