3-2-1 Challenge

This was my first time doing this hike. I got started shortly after seven in the morning and headed up. Perfect weather, cool, light breeze and intermittent shade. Truly one of the most beautiful hikes I have done in the past few years. The views were incredible and the variation of ups and downs was a nice break from the typical climb then climb down. While this hike was to Sawmill I went ahead and included Grouse which was just a little bit further so I could complete the 3-2-1 Challenge. I figured if I drove all this way here and I am a sucker for just one more hill. In all it was 9.87 miles in 5 hours. It was a perfect day on the trail.
