3-2-1 Done!

No snow this year unlike late May 2019. It is a beautiful trail, one of my favorites, and to get the most out of a long drive to the trailhead, we had decided to do the 3-2-1 challenge. The 3-2-1 challenge is promoted by the Mountain Communities Chamber of Commerce consisting of 3 peaks (Mount Pinos 8,848 ft (Ventura County); Sawmill 8,818 ft (Kern County); Grouse 8,583 ft (Kern County)), 2 counties, 1 day. The sky was a brilliant blue. It was a nice long hike and not a lot of people out on the trail. 12 miles, up-and-back.
