3-2-1 Sawmill

Beautiful cool start on this Sunday morning. Arrived just before 9 am. Ran into 2 other gentlemen (Hey Lenny) that were going to do Sawmill (and the 3-2-1 challenge) and we hiked together the enter way up to Grouse Mountain. They were great company on the way up, always excited to talk to other avid hikers.  Trail was in good shape overall and much easier than I remember it from the first time I hiked it a year ago (didn’t make it to Grouse the first time). Clear skies (though hazy in the distance). Didn’t get too hot till about noon when we turned back. After getting halfway back to Sawmill from Grouse, I said goodbye to the guys and pushed ahead, jogging a good amount of the way back. Made it to my car by 1:20 with tired legs and a heart full of joy.
