If you know me, you know I can’t pass up a good opportunity. While working a project an hour and a half from Los Padres National Forest, I got away for a Sunday Funday break! .
3-2-1 Hike Challenge (3 peaks, 2 counties, 1 day)
This was a day!!! I could go on and on about this day but I’ll just hit the main points:

Mount Pinos… stoked to have gotten my first peak sign photo! ???????? Cracked a brew and I was on my way to:

Sawmill Mountain: Yes, that was the overall goal here, to grab Peak #5 of the #sixpackofpeaks ✅ A couple more brews down the hatch and off to:

Grouse Mountain: To be honest, it was a let down… just a stick teepee in the middle of the Forest with a peak sign (my second) ???????? It was accomplishing nonetheless

First snow hike (and solo) ✅
Highest Elevation so far (8,848’) ✅
