3 peaks, Pinos, Sawmill, Grouse

Was planning on Mt Wilson, but due to poor air quality from the Vista fire we decided to head north instead and do this trail.  We left LA around 5:30am to avoid traffic and got there around 7am. The weather was perfect for hiking. It was overcast most of the time, with the sun occasionally peeking out. But it never got too hot. It was a little buggy at times but again, not too bad.  I’m glad I downloaded the map from AllTrails, bc there were a few times the trail was hard to follow, especially from Sawmill to Grouse.  I like the constant ups and downs of this trail. It’s a good workout!  Overall a beautiful hike!
