#3 Sitton Peak
I got an early start to beat the heat and didn’t encounter anyone else until I left the summit. The parking lot was closed, but I had no issue parking along the street next to the trailhead. I was glad I wore long pants because of slight overgrowth and lots of spiderwebs, but the trail was gradual throughout and provided a leisurely hike. The last ~1/3 of a mile reminded me slightly of the scramble to the top of Strawberry Peak, but this was much easier! Despite this being the lowest elevation of all the peaks on the list, I found myself above a sea of clouds on the summit. Views were beautiful all around. Sitton Peak: the mountain named for what you do to it after you climb it.
