4/20 top of the world

Started early…0640. Just a couple other hikers at the trailhead. Good steady climb, loose rock all the way to the top. Pit stop at an old rock building…not sure what it was for but kinda cool. Crossed the wash up the stairway and back to the trail. There was a lot of green and flora still, but is was beginning to look dry. With each turn we thought we were near the top, only to come around again. The switchbacks ate steep and rocky, but there is another peak behind that one. That is Wasson. The view from the top goes forever!  Passed a few hikers as we left the peak and near the trail hawks we encounters a dozen or so more. Took us about 4+30 total…so start early to beat the rush.
