40 switchbacks? no problem

Trailhead Vincent Gap

I was initially nervous about this hike because of the switchbacks but it turned out to be my easier peak hikes. The trail, though narrow, are well maintained, my feet did not get much beating. The wind started to blow hard about 2 switchbacks to the saddle, I had to pause a few times to keep my balance. But when we got to the peak, the wind somehow cooperated that we enjoyed our time at the peak, the view of Mt Baldy, AV to the north, and sea of clouds to the south. There are steep drops on the switchbacks and me having fear of heights have to try not to look on my side and focus my eyes on the trail. Overall I really like this hike.
