We started at 6am to beat the heat. We added Mt. Harwood and West Baldy as bonus. It was packed at the summit, such a busy day. Lots of hikers! Hiking poles is recommended. There are parts that are steep and slippery (loose sand/rocks). Overall a nice challenging hike.
