Humphreys Peak was conquered today, marking all of the hikes in the Arizona Summer challenge complete. Also joining were my friends Ana Maria (and her dog Xena), Camille, Flora, Robert, and fellow challengers Sang (his 5th peak in the challenge) and Will (his 6th!) The trail is officially snow free, but the bugs were quite annoying on top. It still didn’t take away from the incredible views on a clear, only slightly breezy day – plus the accomplishment of reaching Arizona’s highest point. Thanks for a great challenge this year!
