This was a great hike. There are awesome views of the other nearby mountains (3 Sisters, 2 Presidents and Jack’s fingers). There was snow at the very top and a cool old watch tower. Found ourselves some logs to sit on and eat our sandwiches and enjoy a hard earned beverage (Black Butte Porter from Deschutes Brewery was the right call considering we were atop Black Butte Mountain in the Deschutes Forest). Definitely enjoyed this one! Recommend the trail and the brew.
