A Dance with the Devil

Start early or you won’t make it. Definitely recommend going clockwise (reverse of what AllTrails description says) and bagging Twin & Eagle peaks on the way UP. That side has many steep and rocky sections that I personally wouldn’t have loved going down, even with poles. It is longer than 13 miles. Check out my map where I logged almost 13 well before completing the whole loop when my phone died. Such a beautiful hike. We saw flowers beginning to bloom in every color <3 Saw many soaring birds. There is some mud toward the bottom rn from recent rains that was a little hard to cross. Felt superior at the top mingling with everyone who drove up XD. We got a clear day, amazing panoramic views of the Bay Area to the sierras.
