A Good Day to Hit a High Point

Gorgeous day! Took advantage of the extra hour of sleep (thanks daylight savings) and got to the trail head around 8:00AM. The start of the trail was quite steep but evens out at about 2 miles. The weather was perfect – temperate all the way up with a few clouds so the lack of shade wasn’t a problem. Enjoyed some French bread and Cabot cheddar at the top of the peak 🙂 Very few people on the trail though we ran into a group of “off roaders” in Jeeps at the peak.
