A Journey through Nature that lead to unexpected friendship

What an incredible day! I never know fully what to expect when we venture out on these long day hikes and this was one I’ll never forget! As my fiancé and friend and I began the final 2 miles up to the peak we became friends with a solo hiker and we found out this was his first hike EVER! He was in great spirits but not sure if he would make it to the top. We ended up sticking together and encouraging each other up to the peak! As we were resting another friendly hiker decided to join in and we were all instant friends! We hiked down together embracing the beauty of the mountain, as well as the aches and pains in our body, lol. Although, we never met before it felt like we were long time friends just catching up. We all come from different walks of life, different cultures and ages. I’m convinced fully that the more we connect ourself to nature the more we can connect with each other.
