A Real 5-Star Hike!

This was a gorgeous hike that had it all: forests, creeks and lots of stunning vistas. At a fork in the trail we took the advice of some fellow hikers who were park regulars and made our way up via the Temelpa Trail – it was a beautiful approach, if not the most direct. We really enjoyed seeing more and more of San Francisco peeking out through the fog as we climbed higher and the fog pulled back a little. Our group often jokes that every park is our favorite, but this is one we plan to get back to, in spite of the long drive from the South Bay.
