A Social Distance of 2.4 Miles

Hiking this peak was anything but a quarantine effort.  The parking near the trailhead was so crowded that we had to park in a neighborhood 1/2 mile away and walk up to the trailhead from there.  There was a constant stream of humanity scaling the peak, and only one person huffing through a mask.  But hey, I convinced myself that these are all healthy people out enjoying the heat and avoiding viruses.

The trail was steep but manageable.  In addition to my 14 year son that is doing the challenge with me, we brought my 12 year old daughter and 6 year old son.  Everybody completed the trip all the way to the golden benchmark on the tip of the peak on their own.
