A warm spring day on Black Butte!

Black Butte is always a very busy hike as it’s close to lots of areas of tourism. We got an early start and saw very few people on the way up. We encountered lots of flowers and birds singing. Being that it was the first hike of the season, we opted for the shorter version and it was just right! We enjoyed great views at the top on a very beautiful central oregon day! We did encounter a lot of people on the way back down!
