Gotta hand it to all the staff and volunteers who have worked relentlessly to open this trail back up. Kudos. For what the fires did, this trail is in hiking condition. Long and strenous, steady incline. Started early in the clouds and once to the top the sun started its course. Rattle snake .25. Mile away from the top “toll” road. Be aware of them on the side of the trail.
