The hike was very difficult and very hot. what an accomplishment. We only saw 2 other people on the trail. I would recommend only doing this hike in 80-degree weather and lower.  Overall, very difficult but extremely gratifying.

I have loved this challenge and was able to see parts of AZ that I have never seen before. I am a native of 57 years.
