Ain’t no sittin’ on Sitton Peak!

The hike was beautiful. The views were amazing. We were able to see Catalina from peak it was so clear out. The trail was fairly busy. We ran across three different large meet up groups along the way and then at the peak – it was a full house! I was told normally you don’t see anyone. Guess everyone had the same idea we did that day. There is a candy store at the bottom of the hike, we got a nice hot cup of coffee after we finished. This trail is dog friendly and we took our husky up – he loved it! There’s no creeks or water so make sure you bring plenty of water for all. The final push to the summit is a bit of a rock scramble and straight up so watch your step and if you have a dog be extra careful. Not impossible, just saying watch your step! The trail goes from extremely rocky, to no rocks at all and just a deep rich flat soil path which I prefer, then back to extremely rocky again. So watch your ankles on those rocky parts! Beautiful hike, I highly recommend.
