An afternoon on Sawmill

After climbing Strawberry Peak in the morning, I pulled into the parking lot at Nordic Base. A few cars were scattered about, including one horse trailer. The temperature was lovely, and a light breeze blew through the lines. I cruised over to Mt. Pinos before continuing onto Sawmill Mountain. Had a snack at the summit before cruising back. Camped at Mt. Pinos Campground to avoid that long drive back to San Diego. Plus, two peaks in one day make for some tired legs….
