Arctic in Sonoma in June

Hiking this time was night and day compared to last fall. We were so worried about the heat that we were ill prepared for the unseasonable frost. We were freezing in our shorts and were engulfed by a thick frosty cloud and at times couldn’t see beyond 10 feet ahead. Saw no one until the very end when we saw some rope climbers. Mileage: 10.39 miles, elevation gain: 2,133 ft, time:4 hours 20 minutes. Hike with Susan Zieff who is also workinmg on completing the challenge.
